From shipping integrations to inventory management to selling across multiple channels, there are no shortage of apps that will work with you to maximize your store. While that may be true, these are the ones that we use time and time again with our merchants because they are just so 🔥.  

Bespoke Shipping

What it does: Amps up your Shopify store with advanced shipping capabilities such as time-based shipping rates, local pickup, and wholesale rates.

Why we ❤️ it: In addition to supporting direct API integration with the world’s largest carriers, Bespoke has a huge array of customization options for your Shopify store. From including a shipping estimator on your product page to fixed priced shipping for specific products such as drop-shipped item, this app makes getting your product to your customer a breeze.


What it does: Not all merchants offer a product that is tangible, and SendOwl makes selling digital goods a cinch with their easy to use app.

Why we ❤️ it: The app uses a network of servers around the world for their hosting, resulting in the quickest download speeds for customers. It provides instant downloads, unlike many of the free services, and can be customized to match the look and feel of your Shopify store.

Power Tools - Filter Menu

What it does: Much like the name implies, this app allows customers to filter products by things like type, size, color, brand, and price. 

Why we ❤️ it: Having the ability to offer our merchants advanced functionality in their shop is always a win, especially when it helps customers find what they’re looking for faster. Time is money, as they say! There are a lot of tools out there to accomplish this, but Filter Menu by Power Tools is at the top of our list.

Smart Search & Instant Search

What it does: This app by Searchanise offers smart search functionality taken to the next level. It is fully responsive, so when a customer types in the search field they are shown suggested products, collections, and content pages that adjust as they type.

Why we ❤️ it: What, you’re still not convinced? It’s also multilingual (English, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, and Cyrillic), indexes results in real-time, allows you to track campaign effectiveness, is optimized for mobile devices, and is beyond easy to install - it simply finds search fields in your theme file and replaces them with the fuzzy search feature.

Back in Stock

What it does: Don’t miss out on a sale just because your product is temporarily sold out. With the Back in Stock app, your customer can request an email alert when the product they want comes back in stock. 

Why we ❤️ it: Not only does this app offer a great experience for your customers, it also has a ton of benefits for the merchant. The dashboard gives you great reports that identify which products are in high demand and how many to order, the interface is fully customizable with your own images and copy, and is fully integrated with popular email platforms like MailChimp and Klaviyo.


What it does: The phenomenon of social proof is becoming more and more prevalent in ecommerce trends, which is why apps like YOTPO are so advantageous to merchants. By including reviews on product pages from real customers, merchants can increase conversions and see a massive boost in sales.

Why we ❤️ it: Merchants can include user-generated content such as photos as part of the product review page, it has full social integration on the most popular platforms, has a built in Q&A forum allowing you to answer customer questions right on the product page, the option to incentivize customers to leave reviews by offering coupons… shall we go on? There’s a reason this is one of the top apps we recommend to all of our Shopify merchants.

Store Locator

What it does: Make finding your brick and mortar locations or stores that sell your product a cinch for potential customers by providing a responsive and reliable Store Locator map (the only one that uses the official Google Maps interface!).

Why we ❤️ it: Our friends at Bold Commerce offer a full suite of amazing apps, but the Store Locator product is at the top of our list thanks to its ability to be completely customized to meet the varying needs of Shopify merchants. It is also mobile friendly, making the on-the-go experience that much easier.

Recurring Orders

What it does: Offers a robust platform for merchants who sell their products on a subscription or recurring basis. 

Why we ❤️ it: We have built a number of Shopify stores that provide subscription services for their products, and the Recurring Orders app allows us to provide even more value to these merchants with options like dynamic discounts, bulk discounts, and gift subscriptions. Plus new merchants get a free 90-day trial. What's not to love?
